Along with the great businesses and foundations that help fund Junior Achievement locally, JA in Bismarck-Mandan also holds two yearly fundraising events that are spectacular! The Monopoly Tournament is a whole family fun experience and Casino Night is an adults only night of fun, food and networking. If you have never had an opportunity to be involved with either of these two events, we invite you to participate!
Financial Fitness Seminar

Most of us try our best to eat right and exercise to stay it, but what about our finances? Capital Credit Union, in partnership with Junior Achievement, invites the public to a financial evaluation and educational event.
Similar to an annual physical exam and routine automotive maintenance, a financial fitness checkup is your opportunity to see how you sit financially and to make sure you are headed in the right direction.
The Financial Fitness Checkup will be held Jan. 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chamber. The cost is $20 and includes lunch and a Financial Fitness handbook. The following points will be presented:
• Budget planning
• Determining net worth
• Bad vs. good debt
• Credit scores
• And more!
All businesses, organizations, employers and employees are encouraged to attend. Additional books will be available for purchase.
RSVP's are required for this event. Registration ends Friday, Jan. 22. All proceeds benefit Junior Achievement of Bismarck-Mandan.
