For more than 85 years, companies that are interested in making an investment in the future of a child have been doing so through support of Junior Achievement. Students often attest that JA ensures they possess the knowledge and skills necessary to fully participate in the American dream. By staying involved you can help children experience JA and inspire them to achieve a future where their dream can become a reality.
A hallmark of Junior Achievement is its unique use of local business and community volunteers who come into the classroom to deliver JA programs. The dynamic interaction between students and classroom volunteers with practical business experience promotes active learning and brings theory to life, often resulting in a life-changing experience for the students.
During this past school year, Junior Achievement of the Bismarck-Mandan area was able to successfully reach more than 3,400 students. This school year the demand has grown and we expect to reach almost 4,000 students in just Bismarck-Mandan. In order to do so, we need your help and the help of others within the business community.
Without your help, we may need to turn away many local teachers who are requesting the Junior Achievement program for their students. We are respectfully asking you to consider making an investment in the future of our youth with a tax-deductible gift to Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest.
With your involvement we hope to reach an even greater number of students with JA’s richly diverse curriculum, thus enabling more children within the Bismarck and Mandan areas to experience JA. Your support will be publicly recognized, and is an excellent way to show your customers that you support the community.
